Policy Regarding Serving of Alcoholic Beverages

Applicable Laws.  All alcohol served for beverage purposes must be served in compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, including all applicable administrative regulations; any applicable federal and local laws; and the Grand Lodge of Ohio Code, including all applicable Grand Master's edicts.

Locations of Use.  Alcohol served for beverage purposes under this policy may only be served on the non-dedicated Ballroom and Banquet Room levels of the building and/or the exterior parking lot and grounds areas.

Permit and Insurance.  All alcohol served for beverage purposes must be served by a third party, legally licensed Ohio liquor permit holder approved by the Lakewood Masonic Temple Company at least 30 days in advance of the event at which the beverages are to be served.  The permit must be properly matched to the type of alcoholic beverages served, days and hours of service and any other applicable laws and regulations.  The permit holder must carry insurance with a minimum liability limit of one million dollars ($1,000,000).  The permit holder must further provide the Lakewood Masonic Temple Company with copies of the relevant permit and a certificate of insurance naming the Lakewood Masonic Temple Company as an additional named insured at least 30 days before the event at which the alcoholic beverages are to be served.
